yāvad bhāratavarṣaṁ syāt yāvad vindhyāhimācalau |

yāvad gaṅgā ca godā ca tāvadeva hi saṁskṛtam ||

यतणवद् भणरेवषं स्यतणे्यतणवद् वव््यतणहिमणचलौ

।
यतणवद् गङ्गण च गोदण च ेणवदव हि संस्केम ्
ृ

As long as the land of Bharata shines on

the earth, as long as the lofty Vindhya and

Himalaya raise their heads, as long as the

pure water s of Ganga and Godavari flow,

so long Samskritam will keep shining.
